How long did it take to build and deliver your GC?

Hello! Im new to the forums but have been reading them the past few months. I took the plunge and ordered a black on black Limited Diesel with the luxury 2 package and navigation from Koons through the DC group buy a little more than 3 weeks ago. I have been checking the vehicle status daily and it still says its scheduled for production. I was wondering how long it took for your vehicles to be built and delivered. I cant wait to get mine!

Re: How long did it take to build and deliver your GC?

Took 5 weeks + 1 day for mine from order to at the dealership - 22 days to build from the order date and 14 days in transit. Seems to be taking 4-6 weeks for most people depending on where you are located.

The wait is no fun....... LOL

I've been waiting about 5 weeks and I'm not built yet. I regularly look over Milous's list though to check dates on the other builds out there. I will admit that I noticed Zhe Wiz's order and said to myself, things could be worse. It could be built and stuck in inspection 10 days. That sucks. My fingers are crossed

My dealer just emailed me yesterday, it said mine should be here mid-May. That would put it at 4 weeks from order to delivery. I sure hope so!

Thanks! I need all the crossed fingers I can get! I'm EASILY going to hit the 8 week mark, as it takes approx. 2 weeks to deliver after it ships. khooker24 and I are both in the same black hole. No one seems to know why, or at least no one will tell ME why or what's going on. My requests for information have thus far been ignored. It would be easier to wait if I knew WHY I am waiting or approximately how long I need to wait.

All I know is my days with my current vehicle are numbered. I may get desperate and resort to buying another Subaru or Toyota. Unfortunately I feel obliged to start looking again. My wife is nervous about Jeep and Diesel anyway, and 2 weeks in "Inspection" is doing NOTHING to allay those fears.

Re: How long did it take to build and deliver your GC?

Delivery time depends on whether the order was placed as a sold order. Definitely arrives quicker if that's the case, approximately 5 weeks for me. Otherwise probably looking at about 8 weeks for delivery.

There's MUCH more to it than that. Mine was placed as a sold order. 6 weeks and counting...

Took 8 weeks for mine. I think it took a while to find a roof that didn't already have a hole cut into it for my no sunroof option.

My order is placed as sold and I highly doubt im going to have it delivered in 8 weeks if im 3 weeks in and they havent even started production.

I got the panoramic sunroof so its nothing out of the ordinary.

Can you guys post up what your builds are? I ordered black/black with Lux II package and navigation. I would hope there wouldnt be a delay with that kind of order.

I ordered a Max Steel Overland, black interior, V8, Adv. Tech group and QDII. Nothing out of the ordinary. Almost 5 weeks in and not built yet. Although I know the build will be done in a day. Just have to hope for not a long inspection.

Is there anyway to tell if my order was placed as "sold"? I went into the dealer, negotiated price, put $500 down and then walked though and submitted the build with the new car salesman to Jeep.
