When do you think we will see the first rebates/incentives on the MY14's?

Probably.

Yeah... supposedly starting in April there will be incentives/rebates.

Some dealers run an AutoShow bonus.. I know here some dealers were advertising $500 autoshow bonus for the Milwaukee Auto show.

Just read that if you order a '14 before noon today, it's 50% off!!!

My dealer thinks incentives will be to clear out 2013 units. The only other reason would be if there seems to be a competitive disadvantage, which is why Fall incentives happen -- new models roll out from other brands and grab people's attention. And/or, the line gets refreshed with new colors or options (TrailHawk, for instance). In general, every six months or so, something must happen to keep the brand and model exciting and in the news.

Just got a card in the mail from Jeep today reminding me to use my $500 certificate by May 31. I quess I will go to my local dealer this week and see what he has in 2014 Overlands. Was going to wait till late summer as I still have 9 months warranty on my 2011 GC, but I could buy early if I find something. Al

I'm in a holding pattern as well. I'm window shopping until my warranty is about to expire. I've been trying to get a rebate through the mail by requesting info but so far no love for this guy.

I may try to sell my 2011 outright then motor in for a cash deal on a 2014.

So, my girlfriend graduated college a little over a year ago. I see that there is an incentive for the graduate program for $500 off. Other than "her name being on the title too", is there any downside to having her cosign or be a part of the purchase to save that $500 on top of negotiations? Her credit score is probably lower than mine, as I just recently cosigned for her to get a lease because her file was just too thin to establish credit.

Will her lower credit score have any affect on my potential financing options if I try to take advantage of that incentive?

I don't think this is available for the 14 GC. I tried it myself since the lady is in grad school.

Just curious how her cosigning, but me being in charge of all of the finances regarding the Jeep would risk my credit and situation?
