How low will it go, OPEC countries will keep forcing it down until the fracking and alternative fuels industries are shattered, and its cheap so people use more. Then drive it back up to $4 rake in the money and years later when fracking and alternative fuels gets back on its feet slam it back down, rinse and repeat. Anyone that thinks these prices are not being forced down intentionally is smoking crack.

Regular $1.59
Premium $1.99
Diesel $2.13

This^

Also imagine the real cost/profit per gallon at the current prices and imagine what the profit is at $4 per gallon.

Re: How much are you paying at the pump to fill up?

$1.79 for 87 octane in North Dakota. $2.44 for #1 ULSD this week as we are expecting temps below zero. I forgot to see what the price for #2 diesel was.

I pay anywhere from $.99 to $1.19. My wife and I save all of our fuel points and fill up both of our cars at the same time. 35 gallons of gas for $35 to $40, rinse and repeat every two weeks.

We have a grocery store / gas station chain here in Arizona, (Fry's Marketplace), that does the same thing with "fuel points". The problem is there is just my wife and I. We would have to buy enough groceries to feed the 3rd Army in order to get a couple tanks of "cheap" gas.
