Re: How much are you paying at the pump to fill up?

I get that, but its my credit card, not the gas station's limit.

Mongoose9400 is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: How much are you paying at the pump to fill up?

same card every time I fill up, only certain stations limit me, others they don't. So in my conclusion it's the station or something the station is doing to limit my card because at others I can pump away until full.

Re: How much are you paying at the pump to fill up?

I just spent right around $100 bucks today :-( I think the fuel price was about $4.51 for 87 octane for my 3.6 V6.

I hope it continues to climb at a constant rate until the election to seven, eight bucks. Maybe that will piss people off enough to fire that lying bastard in the White House.

Re: How much are you paying at the pump to fill up?

The most I've paid is about $100 where the tank was just about empty, but no warning light or message.

For those curious about national pump prices over the last year or so (sorry if something like this was posted earlier in the thread):

http://www.WinnipegGasPrices.com/retail_price_chart.aspx?city1=Winnipeg&city2=Canad a Average&city3=USA Average&crude=n&tme=12&units=us

Note the chart is in US$/gallon, so no conversion of litres or $ CAD required.

While American drivers are spooked by $4-per-gallon gasoline prices in the U.S., they may be shell-shocked on other continents like Europe. In London, gas was $8.17 per gallon in March, and in Istanbul, Turkey the price was $9.63, according to DailyFinance.

Re: How much are you paying at the pump to fill up?

Exropeans just pay more taxes. Of course most have National Health that works. Just be glad we don't have taxes based on engine size. Yet.

Higher gasoline prices are just part of the picture: in many places "over there" there are breaks given for diesels. Most European cars are now available with turbo diesel engines, even Jaguars, and account for about 50% of passnger car sales.
