Re: How much did you pay for your Summit
The Summit Edition Group costs $4,085 (all prices in MSRP). It comes with Advanced Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control which is a $1,295 option on the standard Overland along with Saddle interior which is $275. So, the mark up is $2,515 for the Summit versus the Overland with Saddle interior and ACC (assuming the Overland is supposed to come with the 730N RHR versus the 430N RHB which is a $305 price difference but if not the difference would be $2,210).
For the $2,515 (or $2,210 as the case may be) you get the upper interior trim in Saddle instead of Black (upper doors, upper dash), upgraded floor mats, additional seat stitching, Black Olive wood trim instead of brown, polished wheels versus painted, chrome grill insert, and chrome fog lamp bezels. Plus you can order Rugged Brown exterior if that's your thing too.
I suppose if you wanted to buy just the polished wheels separately later you'd be pretty close to the additional package price...although you'd have to sets of wheels.
It really is a preference thing and how much you want to spend...but the additional cost for what you get is not outrageous by any standard.
