Re: How Reliable has your WK2 been? Post up!
Overland hemi - picked up in the end of March.
Just under 10k miles.
Very few complaints. Very nice ride.
Towing a boat is very nice, but mostly spend time on the road, not hauling tow toys, and/or building materials.
I am in the auto industry, so I am quite critical:
Knocking suspected, went away when I stuck with mid grade. not sure how much longer I will stay with this routine - may move to every 3rd tank because I am a cheap-o, and expect this thing to last 10+ years (as I do with all every-day drivers).
Dealer to replace right rear seat cover, the stitching is broken on a seam, from new, and I have no time to take it to the d-ship and park it there for hours.
Under the hood, they used paint pen on every connection in their final inspection (blue in color) and at $40k, they could use something that wont show to the customer.
Other "things" that were fixed: the rear left seatbelt had blue paint pen stains on it - dealer fixed.
The plastic trim that was moved around now does not have quite the perfection look it had when I picked it up.
93 Corvette, with lightly modded LT4/ZF6. Polo green, Beige interior - garage queen.
11 Overland V8/4x4 Mineral Grey/Lt. beige/730N
Dad's car; A restoration I took over: 79 Porsche 911SC, now running clean!!
