19,000 miles in 8 months HEMI Overland and ZERO problems. Only issue has been with my lockpick chr550 from time to time but that may be an iPhone issue. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Cool, I'm in Trumbull. Purchased from Scap in Fairfield.

Re: How Reliable has your WK2 been? Post up!

5 months and 8200 miles...only problems have been the iPod interface (which the latest uConnect updated helped but not completely), a missing anti-rattle clip on the left front brake, and a steering wheel switch that acts up on occasion. There are a few sounds/rattles that are happening that the dealer could not reproduce but nothing major. We did have a number of flash updates done and the acceleration shifting is improved from when we first bought the vehicle.

We also have the sloshing sound but at this point it doesn't bother us enough to get the fuel tank replaced.

Considering it's an early build (July 2010...yes it sat on the dealer's lot for months) I think we're doing OK so far. Nevertheless, reading about the issues others have had has me wondering if I should get a service contract just to be on the safe side...

Overland 4x4 5.7, 4000 miles build date May '11 - no problems except the annoying home base in the nav system being lost all the time

I'm just shy of 6k miles since taking delivery in late May. No major issues causing a trip to the dealer. Actually, no real issues whatever other than a few gripes - hard shifting from D to R, etc.

Hemi
7,500 miles
9 months young

Warped lower windshield seal . . . . I have owned 8 new trucks since I started driving in 1966. This WK2 is my favorite ! First car was an Austin Healy 59 bug eyed Sprite . . . . wrecked trying to 4 wheel. We are all very lucky to own this truck as I have had numerous comments from friends who paid $20K more for well known foreign brands.

Re: How Reliable has your WK2 been? Post up!

3.6L Laredo
4k miles
5 months
February 11 build

No real issues, just the thud in the steering wheel that the new TSB took care of. There is still a crackling sound if i move the lumbar to its highest point and all the way out. Dealer cant seem to figure out how to fix it.
Mainly use the truck as a weekend car to tow the boat. Runs great and tows awesome.
Other than those little nit pick items I am very happy with the truck.

Re: How Reliable has your WK2 been? Post up!

Hey guys,

I've been sitting on fence about purchasing a 11 or 12 JGC but after following this forum for the last week or so I am beginning to think that this truck and probably Jeep in general has some major quality and engineering issues. $40,000+ is alot of money to not get something rock solid. Some people are very happy but it does seem as though there are just as many regrets. Just my observation.

What other vehicles are you looking at?

I'm wondering about the overall quality on my Jeep as well...but I did my best to manage expectations in that area since, for us, the Jeep was better than any other SUV we were looking at.
