Angry How to remove front bumper?? 2014 Summit

I'm looking to replace the factory upper fascia with a Trex grille and install a bull bar.

I've removed all the rivets and the 2x 10mm bolts but it still seems to be connected where the bumper meets the quarter panel.

The instructions from Dodge does not detail this step very well.

Any suggestion??

Thanks

Re: How to remove front bumper?? 2014 Summit

Thanks!

I've watched this video several times and it makes it look so easy. My experience is not the same. I'm pulling on the bumper to the point the I think it's going to break.

I'll try again within the next few days and report back.

The Summit has a trim piece over the wheel well that is taped to the body. It cover the clip at the top corner of the front fascia. You have to lift the trim piece slightly to release that clip. Unfortunately, this leaves the trim piece "unglued" at that point and you'll have to figure out a way to stick it back down.
