Husky Weatherbeater/X-Act Contour Video Comparison Review

Hey folks! Here it is! I just uploaded my comparison review for the Husky Weatherbeaters and X-Act Contours. I also reviewed the Mopar brand mats. Lots of pictures in this video so hopefully you can have an answer for every question you might have when considering this purchase for your Grand Cherokee.

This is my first time ever making a video like this. It took me a while to get it finished because I was new at using all the software I purchased to make it. I got it down now though and I plan on making many other videos in the future.

I hope you enjoy it!

Now if I could only decide on which one I like. Honestly I am kinda leaning towards the Mopar mats.

PS: I recorded it in HD so please feel free to click on the youtube button to watch it in a larger screen with higher definition.

Great video and great comparison. Thanks!

I went with the Jeep/Mopar option (mainly because I got them thrown into the deal when we bought our '14 Overland), and I have not been disappointed. That said, we live in Texas, so rain, snow and slop are not big issues for us here.

Love our Weatherbeaters
Excellent fit both front and rear.....the tan colour goes great with the Nepal/Light Frost interior. Almost factory looking....not so hard as the black.

I feel even better with the mopar mats now after seeing the video. I am not a fan of how the husky/weather tech mats look. Good review Philly, thanks for solidifying my choice.

Thanks for review.
I was leaning towards WeatherBeaters.
Now I'm definitely going with those.

Re: Husky Weatherbeater/X-Act Contour Video Comparison Review

Thanks for the review! Without being able to feel them in person, I'm torn...

I like the look of the Mopar, probably the feel of the XAct, but the Weatherbeater's seem to be in the middle! Hrmmm! We have some pretty bad snow/mud/rain in Ohio, and I'm constantly slinging it around the inside, so I'll probably go for the extra protection of the XAct's. I'm definitely going to get the Mopar cargo liner though!

Fantastic comparison. The pictures with the commentary is 100x better than any of the written reviews for me. Looks like I'm going with the X-Act for the front and rears. Definitely going with the Mopar cargo liner. Thanks!

Wonderful review, thank you! My dilemma is going to be color choice. I ordered the blue/brown interior so I'm not sure what will look best.

Re: Husky Weatherbeater/X-Act Contour Video Comparison Review

Anthony, excellent production and script!
I got it that you are not a fan of the overlap of the X-act Contours on the door frame, BUT that is a feature I appreciate. I used the MOPAR slush mats for 2 winters as I did not pay for them. Based on comments here I bought the X-act Contours in Nov. 2013 and just removed them for the season. Sometimes I knock my feet on the side to clean them as I get in. The overlap keeps the crap from getting in the space between the edge of the carpet and the door frame. Sometimes I don't and they are dripping the most when lifting them in. Again the overlaps protects the carpet and keeps gravel and salt out of the hard to clean edge along the bottom of the door frame.
Also, I agree that the MOPAR cargo mat is the best. Even those of us with the 3.6L and drive like old men appreciate it.

I'm in the same boat with the blue/brown interior.

Thanks for the review PhillyAnt -- very helpful and much appreciated!

Great comparison but you left out the Rugged Ridge ones.
I still have mine and would buy them again
