Took it to the dealer. As expected, the HL will be replaced under warranty. Problem is now I have to wait for the stealership to order one, requiring another 2 hour walk/drive/metro round trip since they don't give out loaner or rental cars. Funny, you'd think that if I called ahead for an appointment, described the problem in detail, and asked if they had a replacement on hand, that would mean they actually would ensure they did when I came in!

Nope, not a chance. Thanks Koons Chrysler Jeep of Tyson's Corner, VA. Fine job living up to my expectations of every single car dealership. Yes, I'm bitter. I love cars but absolutely despise everything about the US car dealership industry. Wish I could afford a Tesla...

I just leased my Overland from them. Who'd you deal with? I dealt with this weird dude named James who looks like Jim Morrison at like 70! Just WEIRD! Thomas Higgins (sales manager, not great). Found him to be a bullshitter. Don't think I'd buy from them again, actually. Took my friend to Farrish to buy the exact same Overland and they were much better to deal with. After that, his roommate bought the Summit the very next day! Sorry Tysons, you lost out on two additional sales last week for being dicks!

I got mine from Safford, but will hit Leesburg for service/warranty work. Safford too far and "weird" also.

Good to know. I live right near there in Alexandria but may have to travel to Rockville or something. Farrish however, was really damn good! Hope you're having good luck with your WK2 so far. I had an early 2014 that went bust quickly! Traded it out for a Bimmer X5 and just traded that for a new 2015 Overland. 1200 miles in and so far no complaints.

Yes, the guy I dealt with at Koons was pretty shady as well. Can't remember his name though - it's blocked from my memory! I talked to their new service manager yesterday, he came over from M-B of Alexandria. I'm waiting for him to call back with an offer to make it right. We'll see.

On topic, I've seen 2 other GC's with the same purple LED. It's always the same bulb - top middle, but sometimes drivers side and sometimes passenger. Wonder why?

I have 2014 Lmt EcoDiesel. Safford was only one around that had what I wanted in stock (1). Got at pretty good deal, so can't complain about that. 42k with tow and luxII package.

6k and "knock on simulated wood trim" no issues. I'm a weekend mechanic, but they gave me a good deal in max car warranty and service plan so I grabbed those. Something like 24 oil changes covered. First one coming up at 10k and I'll hit Leesburg Jeep

Passenger side, bottom center of LED strip for me.
Dealer advises there is a 190 unit backorder situation at Chrysler for just the Grand Cherokee LED DRL's. Some dealers have them in stock. Nearest to me is 1 hour away. I'll wait for new one from Chrysler.
