OR2 is available for selection in snow mode on the 2015... No need to be in 4 low.

My Subaru Legacy 3.6R had this built into the windshield. It was great in snow storms.

One thing I've learned to do is switch to manual control, split between feet and windshield, crank up the temp and the fan, and open the moonroof in the vent position.

I've done this with my last 3 vehicles in heavy snow storms and it helps keep the windshield and wipers fairly clear.
