I also had visited a couple other Jeep dealerships in the area prior to going to the one where I bought the Jeep (ahem, leased) so I had some prices from them as ammunition to make a good deal and to be prepared (always a good idea). I guess it worked since I was able to go from $489 to $439 then finally down to $399.00 (I just noticed I previously said $390, my bad I meant 399.00). I was pushing for $375 but it didn't happen. Still a good deal I think. I agree with you, I'm waiting for the lease incentive price to go down. Right now it's 399.00 per month with $2500 down for the base Laredo without any package. The fact that I'm paying $399 with the convenience package and $2000 down, makes me think I bargained pretty well and got a good price. I can see it changing to $399 a month with $1000 or $0 down in the near future. I also get 4 free oil chnages per year for 4 years....that's a dealership offering which is free with the lease (cool). That's basically an oil change once every 3k miles. Best of luck with your new Jeep and I hope you are enjoying yours as much as I am enjoying mine. Happy trails!
I would say you did excellent!!! I should've waited for your post and gone to your dealer, ha ha. I had gotten a lot of quotes from a lot of places and Westbury did the best by far...they also gave me the oil changes and free inspections as well, I figure that counts as something, right, lol? Either way, right now I wish my commute to work was a lot longer than it is. Time for a road trip!!!
