That should have been removed during dealer prep.

Took delivery yesterday. Removed all stickers, same day. That one needed a heat gun and Goo Gone. I think it said "To be removed by Dealer, in front of Customer" or something like that.

The windshield stickers were a pain also! Apparently, brake fluid works well, but was reluctant to use it.

When I arrived to pick it up, it was just sitting in the lot. I took it upon myself to do the PDI... couldn't wait. I had asked the dealer not to touch the outside, as I wanted to detail it myself. Went back to do the paper work today. Dealer asked if I wanted the dealer logo on my Jeep, said sure if you pay me for advertising your dealership!

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate my dealer and all of his employees. He had his guys come out, while I was doing the paper work to go over it and remove all the sticker glue from the windshield.

Love the Jeep! V6 is OK, but wish I had ordered the Hemi. Took the Customer Choice Financing for 3 years, so will probably get the Hemi again, in my next one...

funny thing is i just saw a jeep with the sticker on it this afternoon and couldn't believe he was driving around with it still on. it baffles me just like when people go thru the automatic car wash and don't stop and remove the little bag they place on the rear wiper blade so they drive around with it still attached all day. it only takes like not even a minute to take care of the little details.

Some residual was left but rubbed it off w/ some oil when I got home.

Finally got mine off last night...it was on there so long (many months, even before we took delivery of it) that I had to take a credit card to it and it came off in many little pieces. For the left over goo a few applications of Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover worked very well.

Unfortunately I ended up with some minor scratches on the trim...any suggestions for buffing those out?

Thanks for finally posting a picture of this sticker. As noted in my previous post - i could have sworn this sticker was to be removed by customer only.

Always blame the dealer first .... then ask questions.:slapfight:

For me it was a requirement to the sale that all stickers were to be removed or not applied (i.e. dealers logo). Sure enough the factory one was still there and they had applied their advertising as well. I wouldn't sign the paperwork until both were removed. Within 10 minutes it was done. Kudos to the dealership for correcting the "error".
