IMO yes very cosmetic issue but everyone has different tolerance level. Personally I would never even notice it but that's just me.

To many of us with $40K plus 14 GC and dealing with other quality control issues,
it only throws salt on the wound .

Damn you guys lol reading these post made me go look at back of my jeep. The hatch looks aligned from side to side gaps all look right but I can't figure out why my right taillight sits higher?? All the lights seem be installed correctly

I stopped by a dealer in Richmond and thought of this thread, so I looked at the 10 or so that were sitting in the lot. About half of them clearly had this issue, the others were perfect. The ones that did have the misalignment were fairly bad, too. Enough so that I would have been concerned about it with issues such as water leakage, rubbing, etc.

Mine's like this as well and according to my dealer at least, it cannot be fixed.

Don't quote me but I believe there was a thread somewhere that said one of the issues was a not fully seated light.

I know I have read that people have had them adjusted at the dealer though.

EDIT: Wow...it really pays to read further up in the thread because this is the one I am talking about....might as well leave my stupidity for all to see.
