Icy Rims - Too Cold for a Wash

So I decided to get the horrible salt off my truck. Needless to say I ran through the wash on one of the coldest days this season. I get it heat dried and then immediately pulling out of the wash I run around the outside with a drying towel. I was just too slow to get the rims before.... Well this.

Dumb me. So is this a problem? It went away by the time I got home but I had to do some quick clean up on the Rims.

Re: Icy Rims - Too Cold for a Wash

Is your WK2 Trail Rated? If so, that means no ice or dirt allowed on the rims. Snow under the tire treads is taken on a case-by-case basis.

Naturally, driving over puddles on the road is right out for Trail Rated EcoDiesel owners.

I totally agree. Although Michigan has seen cold days, these days are definitely feeling chilly. This morning was real cold, more so than I have seen in a long time:

Is there a point where you stop feeling the difference?

Wow, that's only a half degree warmer than Montana's record low back in '53.

Head for a coin wash that uses warmed water, and use the spray to remove that.
Doing so without freezing off your heinie is left as an exercise for the student.
