If you could do it over again?

Like the title says, if you could go back and buy your JGC again, what would you have done differently? Different color? Different options? Engine?

I would have waited for an Overland with ORAII so I could have had QDII and skids. This would have allowed me 18 for winter tires since I was planning to pick up srt reps anyways.

I probably would've gone with an Overland, although I did get the Lux package on my Limited, so I'll be sure to keep that in mind when I'm ordering my '14 :D

If I were to do it all over again, I would get exactly the same Jeep. I got every option except the rear DVD and still don't need/want it; much prefer the pano roof.

A Summit would have been nice but they didn't come in Stone White so I am happy as I am.

Funny you should ask, I just did do it over again. I leased a 2012 WK2 QT1 for 24 mos in Aug and modded it slightly to suit my needs thinking I would buy a 2015 when lease was up but after seeing the *refresh* I went out and got a new 2013 Laredo X QT2 with Tow/20s/Nav/Sunroof and All Weather Group. I pick it up Monday! I will wait it out until Jeep comes to their senses again.

I would get a black interior, and buy a limited heated black leather steering wheel and carbon fiber from the SRT and had that installed in it in place of the orange wood. I think I might just get a 2014 now if the black interior with new brown wood looks good.

I also just "did it again". I had a silver 12 Laredo E 4x4 with quadra trac I and the 20 inch wheel and nav package. I was interested in the diesel engine in the 14s, but after seeing the redesign, decided against it and got a black 13 Limited 4x4 lux package, etc..... It is as well dressed as an Overland minus the quadra lift. I didn' t want that anyway as I have read one too many horor stories about it going bad. I really liked my 12. I absolutely love my 13. No regrets. I got everything that I wanted on the 13 that I liked when I got my 12 but talked myself out of.

I got exactly what I wanted at the time.... and now. As mentioned above the only thing I'm still not sure about is the quadra-lift option. I use the feature all the time so it's not like I wouldn't want it.... I'm just afraid that it won't be reliable AFTER my warranty is up!

On my 2001 Audi Allroad the compressor went immediately after the Warranty ran out. I have more faith in the Quadra-Lift system; it certainly seems quicker and I bet the parts cost less than the Audis.

Memory seats are nice to have. My wife and I switch cars a lot and my Camry doesn't have them and its a PIA The slow power seat to move to my position especially since I can't even sit in the car at her setting lol.. The jeep I just push the button and hop in. So convenient

Yeah I've had them on all my Lexuses (my new GS has 3 position passenger memory also actually), I underestimated how annoying it would be to have to readjust the seat when switching drivers on the Jeep, we do it a lot as my wife drives it day to day and I drive it at least 2-3 times a week. Her Prius just had manual controls, and I avoided driving that whenever possible so it wasn't an issue lol

See if I have to change positions a lot like in the Camry I almost prefer manual seats over power since I can just pull the handle up and slide it back quick.. Btw, your gs 350 has the 3.5 L v6 right? My Camry has a less hopped up version (I think) and damn is that a nice engine.. Fast!

Yeah it was easy with the manual seats! Lots of adjustments with the power, and you never seem to be able to get it the same way twice. Hell, mine Lexus has 18 way power seats, with adjustable bolsters, a base extension, an articulating seat back. Good luck getting the seat adjustment to match without memory seats on that!

Yeah it has the 3.5. It is fast, my ES had the same motor as your Camry, the GS has direct and ported injection, about 35 more horsepower and of course it's RWD. Even the detuned version is deceptively fast!

Lol 18 way seats. Jeez. You would never repeat the same setting without memory.. Ya I am enjoying my Camry. And jeep of course.. The v6 jeep feels like a dog though after driving the Camry..
