Hi everyone,
I didn't want to hijack the thread started by Styx back on 10/27 and he has some great install pics of the illuminated door sills. I got mine today and just could not wait until this weekend to do the install. Here are a few pics and a reference to the original thread.

I actually ended up doing a few things different from the other post.
1.) I did not use wire nuts, I clipped the connection to the lower light and then used heat shrink material to seal the reconnected wires.
2.) I did not remove the side panels (I found they were a PITA to try and remove), instead I was able to route the wire up around and back down so it ended up behind these pieces and it saved me a few minutes on each side.
Overall it is a very easy install, you only need a few tools and there are only 2 wires to connect. Pics below. (Yes my WK2 is filthy due to weeks of cold/snow/melt/freeze etc..)
Here are the pics of the door sill guards that I also put with it. Overall against the Mineral Grey paint, IMO it has a very professional finished look to it. The sill protectors are not actually installed (its too cold) so they are just sitting here and not positioned 100%
