Im probably getting carried away.

Ok so i found a 2005 WK Limited hemi 4x4 with 74k miles for about 14k$

Im mot sure i could afford to finance and insure both that and my 2013 wk2 laredo v6 4x2 only 23k miles

If you had to choose witch one would u keep?

Re: Im probably getting carried away.

You didn't mention where you live, so we can't judge the importance of a 4x4.

Off the top of my head I would say keep the newer, lower mileage vehicle. In the long run, it might be cheaper.

Assume that the Hemi will need roughly a couple K worth of fix-ups to put it in prime condition. This presumes it is mechanically and cosmetically in good shape.
The 4x4 will cost more in ongoing maintenance than a 4x2, all else being equal.
Although it isn't a 2014, suspect you'd miss the '13 within days if not hours of getting rid of it for the 8 year older Hemi. If you want the best hemi performance available, you'd want to save up your pennies and buy a '15 anyway--the 8 speed really makes a difference in performance and mileage.

I agree with the above poster. I have a 14 Limited but came from an 08 WK, you would regret getting rid of the 13 almost immediately as the quality of materials and ride is far superior on the newer models.

Re: Im probably getting carried away.

So i restrained myself, it was tough, i saw also a 91 grand wagoneer that i felt very incline to buy, and it was closer to my budget but still, not the right time for big expenses, hoping for next May.

Re: Im probably getting carried away.

Yeah, I d keep wk2 instead of getting it traded in for 2005. I came from 07 limited hemi. No regrets for getting rid of it.

Re: Im probably getting carried away.

I would never even consider trading a WK2 in on a WK.
