OK - This topic had been discussed somewhat before, so bear with me.
The ad information (I had printed it out for my file) for the Lifetime Maximum Care states "TRANSFER POLICY - Plan is ONLY transferable in the state of Florida ($40 transfer fee) and North Carolina ($50 transfer fee)."
The understanding was that Florida and North Carolina had laws which trumped the usual no transfer terms of the policy. Not unusual for state laws to sometimes do this.
So, I called 1-800-521-9922, the number for service contracts, to ask about transferring my warranty. I'm not selling, but wanted assurance in Florida it was transferable. The lady on the phone could only read me the terms in my contract which says not transferable. I politely asked if there was someone that may know more on how Florida law may trump this and she said they would only tell me the same thing.
Hmmmmmmm........does anyone know where I can get a definitive answer on this?????????????
If not transferable, then I will just cancel the Lifetime Maximum Care.
Milous.......HELP.

See also the fine print which confirms FL and NC transferability:
Covered Components | Certified Pre-Owned | Chrysler Group LLC
Warranty Information | Certified Pre-Owned | Chrysler Group LLC
Optional Vehicle Protection Plans | Certified Pre-Owned | Chrysler Group LLC
SO WHY ARE THEY TELLING ME "NOT TRANSFERABLE" ON THE PHONE?
