LOL... there is a tiny bit of truth to that.

However, if I set my mirror so that I just see the top of the rear glass surround at the top of my mirror, that particular view wouldn't be affected by any suspension change. And that's what's changing.

My 2014 needs adjustment every couple of days. It has been this way since new; over a year now,

My 2012 does that, but I suspect its the seat height adjustment changed itself a couple skew turns perhaps. Mirror is tight as a virgin.

I use to think in the mornings I was slightly taller from waking up.

Inside Rearview Mirror Adjustment

My whole mirror just fell off. Tried to put it back on but it's too tight. It fits around a hex bolt pattern where three prongs on the mirror stalk grab the bolt. Maybe try some lube.

Has anyone had this happen?

Re: Inside Rearview Mirror Adjustment

Problem solved for future generations. Instead of using brute force and pushing it front on, twist it on a and it clicks right in. Recommend you remove the high beam sensor module first.

So did you see a set screw back there to tighten/loosen the movement?

Re: Inside Rearview Mirror Adjustment

I saw a screw, Torx head I think but I didn't have to mess with it.

Many on here have miirors on here that move and we are repositioning them everyday. Do you think the torx that you saw would tighten the mirror movement.

Re: Inside Rearview Mirror Adjustment

No, I could be wrong but I don't think it has anything to do with adjusting the tightness. Just keeping the prong fixed. To the mirror.
