I think it's more a seat problem than a mirror problem. Seat firmness seams to vary a lot with temperature.

This morning it was cold and I had to move the mirror up, after my day of work with the truck in the sun with pano roof open...really hot... it was the opposite.

That's because it was cold and you were sitting up stiff and straight and by the end of the day you were tired and slouching.

There's no way this is a seat issue for me. And it's not so much an issue as it is a funny mystery.

Coolspot may be on the right track....

There may be another reason. Mine does not move BUT it may relate to the seat controls. I found it possible to bump the seat position switch when getting in or out of the Jeep. A small slide past the switch may slightly alter the seat position, hence we believe the mirror may have moved.

Just a thought

No, it is gravity, man. There's a small black hole in the top of the dash that eats small objects, but it is large enough to slowwwwly make the mirror droop out of position.

Re: Inside Rearview Mirror Adjustment

Did anyone ever come up with a fix for these rearview mirror movements? anyone locate a set screw to tighten or anything? mine still moves down everyday or two.

Re: Inside Rearview Mirror Adjustment

Happy to say mine hasn't bugged a tad since I set it right after buying it.
