For all that have installed this update does your rear defrost turn in with the remote start? I only get the seat and wheel heaters to turn on. Tried setting the climate control to auto but that didn't help.

I put this update in and then took it out. I do not have the auto comfort set to on (no seat or wheel warmer comes on), but at 40 degrees and below the defroster comes on with remote start. I keep my Jeep garaged at night and don't need a defroster coming on but can't stop it. So now when I get in the Jeep I press three buttons, "start", "eco", "defroster". Gotta love all the automation, but like HAL it seems to be dictating to me.

This is the third version of software including what came in the Jeep. My seat and wheel always turned on (with the box checked) but only the front defrost comes on. I garage mine as well so the morning start isn't an issue. Open parking at work so having the rear defrost on with remote start would be nice.

I've noticed that my rear defrost no longer comes on with remote start. I know it did
back in April when I was running 13.09, but I don't use remote start often enough to
remember if it worked with 13.38 or if 13.48 is where it stopped working.

I find the rear defroster mode is more valuable for unfreezing stuff from the heated outside mirrors--since they are tied to the rear defroster. The rear window can be handled with good cleaner juiced with just a bit of pure isopropyl--or Everclear in an emergency.
