Interior Panel Replacement

I bought a new 2015 and there is a blemish on one of the panels, and the dealer I brought it to says the entire dash has to come out to replace this piece. Can anyone confirm if this is true? I have looked at diagrams but cannot tell.

Your help is appreciated.

Re: Interior Panel Replacement

The 15 should be the same as the 14.

Thanks for the reply, I have already looked at that and as I said I looked at the diagrams but couldn't tell where it was. Do you know which page it is?

Re: Interior Panel Replacement

Had the same panel replaced on mine due to a cut in it...
Panel ordered and it took them about 10mins to fit when it arrived!

Really? So is mine and it looks like someone tried to repair it. I wish I could see how it gets replaced.

Re: Interior Panel Replacement

Look at the instructions for Mopar interior light kit.
It shows which panels need to come off. Your panel is one of them, I believe
No need to remove dash
I have not done the upgrade but looked at the instructions just to see what is involved

Re: Interior Panel Replacement

check this link out, may be of some help?
Mopar Ambient Light Kit
looks like all the other panels are removed except the one you are interested in, I would expect your panel would come off after taking off the surrounding ones

Re: Interior Panel Replacement

The entire dash does not need to come off. Mine had a nasty squeak/creak from that panel whenever my knee was against it. It was popped off and re-situated by the dealer in under 15 minutes.
