IP Question

I noticed in the 2015 Grand Cherokee brochure on page 5, they show the digital speedometer readout above the analog speedometer within the 7" TFT display.

Is that something new for 2015 because I can't find the same screen in the settings on my 2014?

Re: IP Question

My 2011 Laredo has the option of showing digital speed in that window. In fact, that's the only way I can tell how fast I'm going in daylight because the regular speedometer is almost invisible when the sun is shining.

Re: IP Question

I think the brochure is showing the instantaneous mileage scale. If you set your speedo to digital then scroll to that display (the gas tank-looking one), you'll see the same thing. The arc probably looks like an analog speedo in the photo but is really an analog mpg/mileage scale.

Re: IP Question

Have you tried changing it from analog to digital? Or customizing it?

I tried all different ways. Nothing matches what's in the photo in the brochure. Who knows, maybe Chrysler used some photo editing software to modify the actual photo. Pretty deceiving if they did do so.

Re: IP Question

You sure it's not what I talked about in post #5?

Re: IP Question

140 mpg? I don't think it's mpg.

I think putting the digital speed inside the analog speedometer would look good.

I wanted to get that view too but it's not in the settings ('15 Altitude).

Re: IP Question

I stand corrected. My guess now is it's either an early software build or some kind of photoshop/editing. The clock and compass in the upper right and left corners are a lot larger than they are in my car, relative to the fixed tach and fuel gauges.
