I mean, this is downloaded to your computer? How does it get to the radio?

USB??? maybe.

To answer the question - sort of. I like a lot about it and don't like a lot about it. This will probably be my last Chrysler/Jeep product though, don't like the dealer support and the programming is horrible, with no aftermarket stuff available.

You burn a CD and then your radio reads that. You have to read the thread for the correct procedure. I did it months ago so I forget the specifics, but once you put the CD in your radio the process takes a good amount of time, more than an hour, but is unattended except for the start and upon completion. You do it in your garage with the engine off, go eat dinner then check on it later.

Re: Is Anybody on here happy with there WK2?

I loved it when I first bought it in Nov. 2010. I had the computer lock me out on Christmas weekend 2011 with 8750 miles, waited 2 hrs for the tow in 20 degree weather at 1 am ( lots of fun ) The dealer then told me they believed I may have sat on the key fob and pushed too many buttons at once and the comp. locked up ???? I found that too be a debatable response but oh well.
They disconnected the battery, reset the comp then reflashed it...

I then had both my front struts replaced in May of this year at 11.380. the dealer how ever did not replace my tires even though they admitted that the blown struts probably caused my obvious premature wear to the out side treads ... They just tossed them on the rear .....

I now am having a problem with my drivers side rear door lock which will not operate at all electronically ??? I'm making an appointment to have that looked at....

I really do love it and I hope that I can get more things from my wish list added to it which will help my good vibes to stay true ... vroom vroom ...

Re: Is Anybody on here happy with there WK2?

My fob has been through the wash cycle twice. The first time in the drier as well. Luckily no problem either time. I've since learned to check my pocket before tossing my pants in the laundry.

Re: Is Anybody on here happy with there WK2?

So far so good its my first Jeep. So far it has 7500 Miles on it and no problems, except for the remote start not turning on the A/C until I touch the door handle. I hope they find a fix for it soon. Other then that I am happy with it so far.

Re: Is Anybody on here happy with there WK2?

2012 Summit V8, 1 error reported (gas cap was not tight ?), changed tires the day I got it back in September this year. It is my dd, I have never enjoyed driving this much. 14500 to date, I was a 750 to 1000 mile a month with an Esclade. This is hands down a better vehicle, I can not get over the MPG on the highway. It was my second choice over a truck (yea I know). Drop it off get service and go. If this is going to be the norm I'm hooked. Most people can not get over how good it rides and looks, neither can I.

Re: Is Anybody on here happy with there WK2?

I've only owned it for 1200 miles but I am completely happy with my Jeep. As long as it is reliable I will be good. This is my first Chrysler product in over two decades.
