Re: Is Anybody on here happy with there WK2?

Well realize that forums attract enthusiasts AND people looking to vent problems/seek solutions. It isn't always going to be rosy.

That said, I can report 35K trouble-free miles on my 2011 Laredo-X. Mods are in my signature and they've produced no problems either, to the contrary a lot of enjoyment. My wife feels safe driving the WK2, it's been very dependable, and it has a lot of utility for all the things we want to do; both the mundane and the exciting. It's the workhorse of the family.

Yeah I can see that. An Accord is very similar to a Ferrari.

Re: Is Anybody on here happy with there WK2?

We purchased a 2013 Limited for my wife in Jul. It now has 6000 miles on it, with no problems. Quiet, squeek free and runs well with the V6. In fact, I like it so much I may purchase one. And, then again I may wait for the 2014 to hit the streets and see if the dealer would be more amicable to deal on the '13.

I love it so far. Best car I've ever owned. I like to call it my American Land Rover. Now if I could just find some tires I like.

I absolutely love my 13 Limited 4x4. There is nothing like it. I have had nice cars before, but this is in a class by itself.

PDX. Get the Cooper Zeons. I have them on mine, live in Portland, and am blown away at how they've handled on rain and snow covered roads. I've had BFG, Pro Comp, and Bridgestone. These are the best all around and they look rugged, nice tread pattern and lug.

Oh, and btw, I've loved all my Jeeps. My WK2 has the dreaded 40 to 60 mph shudder but that can be fixed. I've just been lazy.

MY 2012 V8 OVERLAND WITH ALITTLE OVER 10K ON IT HAS BEEN A PLEASURE TO DRIVE. ONLY A FEW SMALL FIXES THAT THE DEALER HAS MADE RIGHT.

Re: Is Anybody on here happy with there WK2?

I've had my 2012 turbo diesel Laredo since June 2012 and have done 14,000km. While I've had some problems, these haven't been Jeep issues, but dealership issues. Love my Jeep. All I can suggest to those who are seeing/receiving negative comments is that (i) most people only take the time to post an entry because they have an issue and want advice, and (ii) Jeep is not seen as a typical Oz vehicle - we're used to the Toyotas as being king pin. Nothing against the Landcruiser personally, except the price. Jeep has provided an alternative SUV for the Oz market and, like any new kid on the block, will have its share of detractors. Do your research, spend time with the vehicles (particularly the model you're wanting to buy) and go with your gut. If it feels right, then it's right for YOU! I am concerned about the cost/availability of parts, but I have insurance and a warranty. I'm also doing a lot of driving in these first 3 years, so hopefully that will shake out any issues and, by the time the warranty period is finished, there will be many more Jeeps on the road and parts cost should therefore reduce and availaibility increase. Last note I'd make is that I received some criticism myself for choosing a Jeep, and this was from some of my most experienced and trusted friends. Yet, I stuck with my choice as the JGC met the majority of my requirements and there was plenty of praise for this vehicle. I've driven from Melb to Perth and toured around the southwest of WA since, and have been amazed at the number of Jeeps I've seen! Enjoy your Jeep! WWW.

Love it! Best vehicle owned, even after only 5 months of use. Has everything you would ever need, and things you never thought you would need.
