I gotta say, i have been on here for a little while now, and i have never seen so much negativity towards a product in my life. I have a new 2012 Summit with 800miles on the clock, and so far i have had no issues.
Every time i come in this forum, there is another thread involving some issue.
What i want to know is how many people on this forum with WK2's are happy with there rig.

Is there anybody on here that likes there Jeep? Please tell me i am not the only one that likes there jeep.

Who has had there jeep since ownership that has had NO problems what so ever, those are the people i want to here from!! Front and Center!!

I've had my 2012 turbo diesel Laredo since June 2012 and have done 14,000km. While I've had some problems, these haven't been Jeep issues, but dealership issues. Love my Jeep. All I can suggest to those who are seeing/receiving negative comments is that (i) most people only take the time to post an entry because they have an issue and want advice, and (ii) Jeep is not seen as a typical Oz vehicle - we're used to the Toyotas as being king pin. Nothing against the Landcruiser personally, except the price. Jeep has provided an alternative SUV for the Oz market and, like any new kid on the block, will have its share of detractors. Do your research, spend time with the vehicles (particularly the model you're wanting to buy) and go with your gut. If it feels right, then it's right for YOU! I am concerned about the cost/availability of parts, but I have insurance and a warranty. I'm also doing a lot of driving in these first 3 years, so hopefully that will shake out any issues and, by the time the warranty period is finished, there will be many more Jeeps on the road and parts cost should therefore reduce and availaibility increase. Last note I'd make is that I received some criticism myself for choosing a Jeep, and this was from some of my most experienced and trusted friends. Yet, I stuck with my choice as the JGC met the majority of my requirements and there was plenty of praise for this vehicle. I've driven from Melb to Perth and toured around the southwest of WA since, and have been amazed at the number of Jeeps I've seen! Enjoy your Jeep! WWW.

Love it! Best vehicle owned, even after only 5 months of use. Has everything you would ever need, and things you never thought you would need.

I've only had mine for about 6 months and 4500 miles but I still love it like it was day one! It's been under 40 degrees here pretty consistently and the remote start with the steering wheel and seat heat has been awesome. Just a small feature that adds to the whole package of awesome.

13 months now and over 21000 miles. Couple of very minor cosmetic issues that were dealt with quickly. Love driving it every day.

I LOVE my Jeep! I'm hardly on the forum, as there are no "issues" that I've had.....
My only problem is that if I leave for work, after my wife, she sometimes "steals" my Jeep!

Mine is one of the first in September 2010 and I still love to drive my Overland. That dosen't mean I haven't had any problems. Only two problems, one minor, my visor came loose, but the second is a replacement of my QL compressor at about 15 months. The QL has been great and I use it daily on parking but just in the last two weeks I'm seeing the warning signs I had before. The EVIC tells me "system cooloing down" when I try to lower it. That happened multiple times before over a couple months then one day the QL system failed completely, the Jeep was just all hunkered down but drivable. My warranty is up in September this year so I'll try and get a replacement of the compressor before then or trade for a 2014.

I have had mine for a year next week but only put 9k miles on it but no problems. Got a touring motorcycle a few months ago plus another truck so I am now only putting about 300 miles a month or less on my Jeep so probably will have it for a while at that rate (that is I have no major problems out of it).

Really interesting, reading all the posts. Seems from my (totally un-scientific) review, that the vast majority are happy with their Jeeps. Based on the premise that "Perfection Doesn't Exist", I too would have to agree that going on two years, our 2011 Overland has been a pleasure!!

2013 WK2 G.C. Overland Summit 4x4 5.7 hemi with only about 300 mi on the clock so far. Been checking out all the features/buttons, and not one thing is amiss as far as I can tell. The only thing that's kind of strange is how the tranny shifts - seems a bit erratic at times, but not sure if thats normal or not ... ? But all-in-all, I love this Jeep! Glad to see that alot of others apparently feel the same ...

Yes. I'm happy (2011 JGC Overland) and so is the missus (2012 JGC Overland)

For the record, my next vehicle *will* be another Jeep Grand Cherokee.

One thing you have to remember about forums such as these, people come on here with problems looking for solutions. Some come here to troll. Most who are happy never have the need to find a site such as this. That is, except for those of us who love to share our experiences with the JGC and want to talk with other JGC owners who go a little further than the local mall.

My WK2 from December 2010 is still awesome ... so I am happy as a Jeep in mud!

I continue to be impressed. I rode in my friends MDX this evening and noticed the discomforting amount of NVH. Although smooth road driving was ok...any amount of road harshness created noises, creaks and squeaks, whereas these same roads feel smooth and uneventful in my JGC. No unnecessary noises and harshness and overall insulated from road noise. Exceptional balance between on and off road capabilities.

My dad has had both the 2011 and 2012 Grand Cherokees and he has loved them. The 2011 was a regular Laredo with none of the features besides 4wd. The 2012 was a Laredo X with more luxury features. Both had the 3.6L V6 which provided more than enough power. Even my dad, who usually always gets a V8 in his suvs was satisfied with the V6. He is currently driving a 2013 Dodge Durango Crew but he says his next car is a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Hemi. The only reason he chose the Durango over the Grand Cherokee for 2013 was that he would be getting the same car for 2013 and he also was waiting for the 2014 Grand Cherokee to come out. He gets a brand new car every year for free because of his job at Chrysler. Not even joking, I think my dad has had around 20 Grand Cherokees haha.

I absolutely hated my wife's '11 Limited V6. We bought it when they frist came out in 9/10, so it was the subject of seemingly every TSB in the book; from "Key Not Detected" to transmission reflashes. It seemed like it spent more time at the dealership than in our driveway. She eventually started driving my car (with some strong encouragement from me :) ), and I took her '11 and traded it in on a '12 with the Hemi and Lux Pkg. That was almost a year ago and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The only thing I don't like is the archaic RHR radio, but I'll take it over the RER we had before. The truck has been trouble-free thus far and I absolutely love it.

I've had my WK2 V6 with 18" stock and off-road package 1, tow package and it's been the best rig for what I do. Fly fishing remote Trinity River spots, Tule River spots deep in the Sequoia Nat'l Forest, Towing a 18' boat 500 miles high sierras, blizzard driving to Lake Tahoe. The rig is black and I don't really like the scratches, but that comes with the territory.
