Re: Is buying a 2011 Overland with 36,000+ miles risky?

I'd love to sell my 2011 Overland with 7k miles. I will never again buy a first year production vehicle even if it's year end. For all those shopping for a truck. Just go buy a new 2012.

^^these type of posts have me thinking twice about going forward with a deal I have going ('11 Hemi Limited), however, I've seen some folks with 2012s having similar issues, so not so sure it's going to make much of a difference.

Re: Is buying a 2011 Overland with 36,000+ miles risky?

As others have said something seems very fishy about that evergreen luxury cars site. The prices are just too good to be true. What I also found interesting is how this place is in MN, but yet I see palm trees in the back grounds of some of the cars pictures LOL. I swear I have also seen that Summit listed elsewhere anyway. Reason I remember it is because it has no front Jeep emblem. Im gonna go out on a limb here and say that site is BS.

It's a former company car.
I just notice this part of your post.

With that, I say hell no. I beat the living hell out of my company car for the most part. WOT just for the hell of it, doing burnouts, throwing it in reverse while still driving forward. Company cars for the most part is damn near like rental cars.

The truck is great but there are little things that just haven't been worked out yet. I'm sure as some point there will be but I hate being the guinea pig.

Here is a 2011 Summit 4,500 miles for $28K show a clean record not sure what's sup with the price though. http://evergreenluxurycars.com/

That '10 white diamond Platnum Esclade will do 50k+ all day long at a wholesale aution..they ahve it listed for $40k.

That dealer is listing cars that are not theirs. The 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged is listed for $55,000. The pictures are obviously from a Range Rover dealer as all the cars around it are Land Rovers. A quick search of the VIN comes up with a completely different Rover that is listed for sale at $68,995.
