Is it me, or does something not look right. . .

Installed Mopar's wheel locks on my '14 Limited today. I immediately noticed that they don't sit flush. For what it's worth, my limited has the 20 inch wheels.

Sorry, but I was unable to upload the photos to this website, or get the site to host from Imgur's.

Let's see if I can get those up in here for you...

No, those are not correct... it doesn't look like it's even contacting the shoulder around the lug hole on the wheel in the second pic. So that's only leaving you 4 functional lug nuts per wheel which is not good.

Are you sure those are the correct Mopar locking lug nuts for a 20" Overland wheel?

Re: Is it me, or does something not look right. . .

I figured as much.

Well, I got these exact ones from eBay:

New 2011 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Wheel Locks Locking Lug Nuts OEM Mopar | eBay

It said it would fit all engines/trims for the 2014 Jeep GC. I wasn't under the impression that there were ones made specifically for the Overland wheel. I sure as heck didn't see any. . .

They may say it fits but it's obvious they don't. I see they have a 14 day return policy though.

Yeah, let's hope they take them back now that the packaging is near destroyed.

In any event, what am I going to do? I live in NYC - I need locks. Do you have a link to locks that will fit?

If you zoom up to the upper right corner of the image in the eBay ad there's a part number listed on the package.

See if that jives with any part number for locking lugs on the Mopar site itself.

Re: Is it me, or does something not look right. . .

There are two sets out there I believe for the mopar locks and one sits flush check the forums there is a thread out there. I have gorilla Lugs on mine for the Chrysler/Camero and they match perfectly. I like how they have a unique key that actually locks over the lug. My parents town and country had the same ones you had and the key snapped in half...

Those are the correct ones according to Jeep but I agree they look like hell. Mine only stayed on a week after I bought them as I could not stand them.
Take a look at the Gorilla 96641C that is what I ended up using
Also I compared a few here if you want to take a look
Alternative wheel locks.

Correct ones according to Jeep? Do you have a link for that?

I mean, they do look like crap, but they are in fact on the wheel correctly. The threads matched up and they tightened like any other lug, but yeah...that stance

Guess, I'll buy the Gorilla's. . .

Thank you everyone for your help!

Re: Is it me, or does something not look right. . .

I'm finding Mopar part #04726155AA for locking lug nuts to fit a 2014 GC Overland 20 inch wheel.
