And yeah, they do seem to need replacing at least once a year.

I just used the blue driver and this thing rocks.. Very simple to use and read and is has very detailed information about your car.. Temp, ambient temp, load, rpm engine codes and explanations of the code. how many miles you've been driving with the problem.. I'm gonna take a few screen shots of everything tomorrow just to show.. what I do remember is I've been driving 612 miles with a P0456 code which is a small EVAP leak and the last time it threw an engine code was 2022 miles ago which is when I called to make a appt a while ago and ended up having my mechanic look at it.. So I don't think it's a big problem but none the less the ideal thing is to get it fixed.. I think this is the 3rd time it threw the code and all they do is flash it instead of fixing it and blame it on the gas cap which my car is cap less smh..

Same code here, 2014 Overland with 30,000 miles. Second time it has happened and was told I cold drive it as long as the light wasn't blinking.
They replaced the "Evaporative system integrity monitor". It's been 5 days now and no CEL. I don't trust it, we shall see--ce

Well 234 miles in and you guest it... It's baaaaaaaaaaack! Lol smh engine code was P0456 and now p0441 ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1449715011.320355.jpg and at the same time I might as well give you guys some info on blue driver..
It works well and very simple to use.. I went select and happy and selected everything you can monitor and while scrolling down it constantly crashes.. I eliminated a few items and seem to alleviate the problem.. A lot of things I don't know what it's for so I'm pretty sure if your trying to narrow down an issue you can select what you really want to focus on and email your data log.. Seems nice but have nothing to compare it to as well so here's some more info on it.. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1449715527.622106.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1449715541.545618.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1449715555.193799.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1449715569.496224.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1449715586.031537.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1449715605.167358.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1449715621.852992.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1449715641.987645.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1449715655.208269.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1449715671.875199.jpg

Just changed my air filter and cabin filter.. Fairly simple to do.. Took me like 10 mins actual working and YouTube searching a lil bit more for the cabin filter.. Air filter was replaced with a FRAM and to be honest the oem wasn't really dirty but I changed it anyway.. Probably won't go with a FRAM for the next one Bc the quality was better on the oem..

Cabin filter was dirty but from the looks not really but it smelled so looks can be deceiving.. I changed it to the one in the photos and it seem to look like the carbon one from the diesel version will keep you updated with my experience..

Also just sourced my warranty and will be looking over it later to see exactly what is covered.. I'm really hoping the 2nd guy you talk to at Koons didn't swindle me into the warranty promising me its something it's really not..

It also keeps your data logs on the app of when things went bad ao you can reference it if needed.. If you look carefully you can see the codes it's throwing..

Noticed on the first page the service plan does not cover the Diesels, nor SRTs.
I'm sure others will chime in with details of their contracts.

To be honest in that whole contract what I really read is 20 oil changes.. Though i see where it says and where I have high lighted to "replace"certain items it doesn't specify that they are replacing it just that it should be replaced.. I think I need and should make another thread about this to get some light shed on it..

I'm reading that plan that you are covered for 100k miles for oil changes, air filters, cabin filters, tire rotations, transfercase and differentials fluid changes. I'm not clear if they are not giving you the 100k spark plug change or just saying they will only do the spark plug change at 100k only(which is what it should be). So to me it sounds like it covers scheduled maintenance items. But it does not cover maintenance items that are not scheduled such as brake pads, belts, radiator hoses, tires and things like that. These items are still considered maintenance but they are not scheduled or covered. does that make sense?

Now if they lied to you verbally and told you it covered things it does not, like brake pads, even though you signed it, then they are liable for that for misleading you, just that would be an extremely hard thing to prove unless you had recorded them or something.

Re: Is it Normal to be told to wait a month to check a check engine light?

Thanks.. I thought all that was covered and the guy who sold me the warranties also mentioned brakes.. If it's not covered in not gonna go to a debate about it Bc like you said if it was verbal and I'm sure he is aware of what he can say and write.. Lessoned learned on my behalf.. If it's not written down its not real.. As far as all being covered im pissed that the lady in jeep didn't double check to see if my air filters were covered and just assumed it was only oil changes.. Smh I'll have them change it every 10k after me so it works on schedule and I'll add the extra cabin filter and air filters in between as I normally would.. Jeeps normal maintenance for my driving tendencies are about 50% of what they recommend which I'm fine with filling in the gaps on oil changes and air filters..
