Hi I'm financing a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee summit w/ platinum package and rear blu Ray dvd entertainment system.. I plan on keeping this car for a very long time so I purchased all there warranties.. That's ding and dents, tire, interior, maintenance package and lifetime warranty.. Pretty good investment I would say.. I am person who takes care of his ride and I am very on top of things I don't miss an fluid or filter changes in fact I tend to change things earlier if it's up to me..
I get a check engine light routinely I would bring it to my mechanic as soon as possible.. I'm a believer that cars can snow ball into bigger problems so I nip them quickly.. So I have life time warranty so I bring my car for the dealer for everything and I get a check engine light I expect to get it check out immediately before problems escalate.. I call Hudson Chrysler to let them know I'll be stopping by and they told me they are booked solid so I tell them fine I'll come in tomorrow Bc I have a check engine light issue and a few other things I would like to get addressed or scheduled down the line.. The tell me that the next available appt is dec 21 and that due to recalls they have been booked solid..
So I tell her I'm not in a position to be driving my car with this light on can you put the service manager.. I get placed on hold and actually wait like 10 minutes to get a voice mail and I leave a detailed message.. I go in the next day and try to speak to someone I'm cool with in there which is hard to do Bc every time I go there they fired the last one and explain to the service lady the situation.. She tells me as long as the lights not blinking I should be good and that's really the best they can do..
So my question is what do I do?
I don't want to wait nor do I feel I should risk damage to my investment or should I be subjected to wait being I paid for this "lifetime warranty" .

which states completely opposite to what's she's saying.. Which I find ironic that I received Bc another issue in having is with the Uconnect system (auto start ) and usually as soon as I get a check engine light my alert goes off through them stating the issue... Which I didn't receive..
I don't know what to do and I can't be without my car and let it sit until dec 21st.. What should I do and who do I reach out to get this alleviated and looked into?
