Is there a Red Altitude ?

The one thing I consider overblinged is the chrome grille on my Laredo & am undecided between body color ala SRT or black ala Attitude.

Does anyone have a photo of the front of a red attitude if there is such a thing ?

Re: Is there a Red Attitude ?

Altitude? Yes -- there is a Deep Cherry Red. This would be my first pick in the Altitudes. Here's one at my local dealer (where I bought mine). Unfortunately, I cannot afford to trade my car for it. Otherwise, we'd be sporting a "his" and "hers" WK2 family.

Re: Is there a Red Altitude ?

Thank you. Some things I like, others I do not. Personally like the "chrome" GC ding strip on the doors, seems too easy for paarking lot "accidents" without.Think I may order the "Z" grille, anyone know the part number ? Gotta be cheaper than the SRT body color grille (which is said not to fot anyway).

Gloss black is a deep pure shiny black.

Brilliant black has mica in it that reflects light so that you see dots of color reflected: purple, turquois, goldish-brown, etc. so it looks speckly and not as black in direct sunlight.

The Deep Cherry Red Altitudes have gloss black parts.

Brilliant Black Altitudes are the only color Altitude that have Brilliant Black grill and rear brow (instead of gloss black like the other colors have).

Re: Is there a Red Altitude ?

Thanks for the info bud. That might be what I just ordered from the deal. Guess ill find out on Monday. Does a Laredo X and Altitude have the same diamond shape filler in the lower fascia opening? Mine is in the shop so I can't see what mine looks like.

My Jeep has been at the dealer for awhile and I told them to install the front lower chrome oiece. They are trying to say it isn't compatible and I need to order the matching lower fascia oiece.. seems like BS. Isn't there a write up on modding the lower fascia to accept the chrome insert?

There might have been a thread on this, because it's been done. You'll have to use the "search" function.

From that link though, it says the following:
Please note: Since this part was not originally made for the Laredo you will have to modify it. You can cut the tabs off and use double sided tape or you can cut mounting holes in the bumper and slide the lock tabs in place.
There are no installation instructions for this molding.
