Actually, no... but... I do drive in a big city with lots of traffic.

I'm in Southern California and LOVE Sunroofs. I use mine all the time. Often I'll just open the shade to allow for more light. They are in NO WAY detrimental to safe driving.

Sorry you don't like them since I like & use mine ALL THE TIME. And if you think those little bulbs compare to all the HIDs out there... nope.

Luckily Remote Starts ISN'T illegal where I live. It works great and doesn't hurt MY vehicle at all. On warm days (like 90 degrees +) it lets me cool the interior prior to getting in... which is what its designed to do.

I love my TPMS, I use it every time I'm using my portable compressor to air up after going off road.
Love my heated mirrors, push button start and bluetooth.
Wish I had driver seat memory, really wish I had Quadra lift!

Re: Is there any feature you can do without or a must have!

I have the 2014 Summit, a 3/13 early build. Favorite features are:
8 speed transmission. Very versatile and allows for incredible mileage and versatility for all types of driving. It makes a V6 feel like a V8 if you didn't know the engine was a V6.

Versatility of control between ECO, normal (non ECO), and Sport mode. I also use the paddle shifters. You could feel the efficiency if you know how to use these features.

The 4WD was great in the snow even with the stock Forteras. Lots of snow in NJ this past Winter.

Love Quadralift. My wife has health issues and it makes it easy for her to enter/exit. It seriously helps in deep snow, and I raise it to OR2 to go underneath for service, cleaning, or whatever.

The HK audio system is exceptional for stock car audio. I never want to turn it off.

I even found the tilt mirrors useful when parking on a curve. I wouldn't have the feature enabled all the time but in special cases it allows me to see the rear wheel when parking in a tight space where the curb is curved. Prevents scratching the wheel on the curb.

Heated/ventated seats and heated steering wheel are must haves once you have these features.

I could go on and on. Only thing that enters my mind as missing is surround camera as the technology is available for that feature now.

This is one comfortable, capable and versatile vehicle.

Really like (the list is too long, but here are the highlights):
- backup camera.
- perforated, heated, cooled comfortable seats.
Where do you live that remote start is illegal?

Vicinity of Toronto, ON. Remote start is not illegal. Idling is illegal in many jurisdictions.

C'mon out west and drive thru a heavy sleet storm and you'll appreciate the heated mirrors more.

Granted, it is a tad unintuitive that they only come on when the rear window heater is on..... too bad they don't have a separate button.

Idling on a public street around Denver and a few other CO areas can get you a "huffing" ticket.

I never use the led flashlight(very dim).If i didn't have a rear filper glass i would trade these two for one!

Remote start with auto heat/ac is a must have.
Spot on..though I dont mind the sunroof.

Dont need the powerliftgate..though I wish there was a feature to toggle on and off.

I deeply miss my adjustable pedals from my 07.

Wish manual shifting could be on the center shifter as well.

OH most importantly I miss the yellow/red lights that you could see in your rearview/ when you turned around to look out the back window whne in reverse. Frankly too many people these days dont even turn around to look out the back. I msis they days of doing so and being able to actually see out the back glass (makes me sound old I know..funny thing is Im in my mid 20's).

Interesting.... I never knew that there were anti-idling laws. Turns out that in Massachusetts you can idle for up to 5 minutes. There are exemptions, including idling to clear frost, snow, ice, and fog off your windshield. Of course, this is my first remote start vehicle, so its never been a concern.

Haha that exists here in MA? I guess I'm not really surprised.

Anyway, my list would be as follows:

Could do without:
1. Auto liftgate - I use it always but it's honestly more annoying to wait for it to raise/close than to just do it myself (i do know you can do it yourself). Just something more to break.

2. Auto Headlights - They work okay when you're out in the country, but annoy me when I simply want the hi beams on. Again, I know you can shut it off, but most likely just something else expensive to break.

Couldn't do without:

1. Heated Steering Wheel! - When I bought the truck thought this would be something that'd be on the can do without list. That is until I started to use the vehicle in the new england winter. Amazing.

2. Quadra-drive: Honestly it might have to do with my old '05 WK having quadra-trac I so it's relative to that, but climbing muddy/icy mountain roads to ski houses and my parents cabin in vermont made me realize how capable it is without any drama. Most passengers don't even notice how bad the terrain/slippage is because it handles everything so smoothly. And I flashback to my WK that would be making all sorts of crazy noises and failing miserably if I even tried some of the same stuff.
