Last week, I was offered $4,000 off MSRP plus the $500 rebate for a similar Overland that listed for over $49,000.

Re: IS this a good deal on a 2013 Overland?

IT comes out to around $3600 below MSRP, so It is just over $44K for the Vehicle. The TTL com out to $1,900...

They have to order it from another lot so they are going to transfer it in.

Either you have a trade or a less than 4% tax rate?

[IMG][/IMG]I posted the vehicle information again so You can see the sticker on the vehicle that gives you all of the price information.

Looking at that, what would be the BEST price I could get on it BELOW MSRP? (Example: if its listed at $47, 880 then how low can they go from there?)

Re: IS this a good deal on a 2013 Overland?

If you have an MSRP of $47,880 your "walk away" price should be $41,880 + TT&L. 2013 overlands are regularly advertised online for $6000 off MSRP. Why pay more than what others regularly advertise?

NOTE: Your walk away should be set at $40,380 if they increased the rebate by $1500 going from $500 to $2000. First I've heard, but I believe it since the superior 2014s are hitting the lots in the next couple months (per reports on this site). I saw 2012s advertised online for $8500 off after the 2013s had been out for a few months - and this was with the same basic vehicle (no improvements from 2012-->2013, actually less features w/ the removal of the power tilt/telescope column).

Ok. He was fighting me when I asked for $5K off of MSRP. Also, I dont think the extra $1500 applies to the V8 Overland. I think its just for the Limited model. (according to Jeep.com)

I found the dealership that has this actual vehicle that they want to transfer in so I may give them a call in the morning. It isn't practical for me to drive up there, so that may hurt my bargaining power a bit...

Re: IS this a good deal on a 2013 Overland?

if he is fighting you walk away go to another dealership.... my buddy who is in the business says that alot of people use that tactic.....this is your car and once it leaves the lot yoyu have to pay... try going out of area and you should be negotiating starting point from the base price no one pays msrp! id go for invoice and some hold back

Re: IS this a good deal on a 2013 Overland?

ohh and btw if they say "we are loosing alot of money" there not lol... no dealer will make a deal that they will not be making money off of... so dont let them tell you there are doing alot for you ... and check or call jeep because i just saw advertised commercial on 2013 models 2,000 off.... and if there is dont let them use that as there discount... negotiate a price and then that comes off on top.. also check there web site specials and see if there is any new car coupon because they sure as hell wont tell you about them... when i bought mine i got 1000 off just for test driving the thing and they complained how they are loosing money.... i said "you offered it" and that ended that...hope this helps!

Re: IS this a good deal on a 2013 Overland?

We just bought a 2013 Overland Yesterday. The V-8 incentive does not work with Overland, Overland Summit, or SRT 8. We ended up getting 5k off of sticker price. They took all of hold back out except for $100. I am wondering if the people that are advertising 6k off are putting add ons on and then loweing price of the add ons to show a bigger discount. The only rebate out there for the overland is $500. We also got what we wanted for our trade and 2.49% financing for 72 months. Overall we were pretty happy. Sicker on it was $45,570.
