Re: Is this a good price for a JGC Laredo Altitude?

I just traded in a 2014 Cherokee for a 2017 Grand Cherokee Altitude. Sticker price was $41,900 after incentives it was $38400. Probably didn't get the best deal but not the worst either. I absolutely love it so far. The rhino color and all the features it has is exactly what I wanted, so I jumped on it. Possibly could have got a better deal but I'm not losing sleep over it! Good luck on finding the right Altitude!

Re: Is this a good price for a JGC Laredo Altitude?

I got my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland appraised for trade in over the weekend by two dealers including Carmax and they are giving me 25k. It currently has 38k miles on it. I don't think it's a bad deal as I bought it for 26,800 plus TTL. Put close to 4K miles on it since I bought it. Now I'm just trying to negotiate on a 17 Altitude or Limited 2 Package.

Re: Is this a good price for a JGC Laredo Altitude?

I'm actually negotiating right now to purchase an Altitude 4x2. It is a no option truck, with a $37,490 window. Dealer just forwarded the buyers order and it shows $3,750 in rebates (we qualify for Conquest rebate, no military).

So here is my question. Does anyone know if the current May 2017 rebates are higher or lower than the ones last month (April)? I am in Florida.

I ask because the bottom line price that they offered me a few days ago (end of April) was lower than the bottom line price they are offering now (beginning of May).

I thought the rebates were actually better this month (looking at Jeep.com), so I expected the OTD price to be lower. What gives? Seems like a dealer playing shenanigans, which would not surprise me.

If any insiders can shed some light on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Make sure you listen to the stereo and are OK with how it sounds (if it doesn't have the Alpine Amp and 9 speakers & subwoofer system in it).

Deals are usually always better at the end of the month.

It seems a little high, I got my Black 2016 Limited 4x4 with 8.4 NAV, Trailer package, sun roof, auto dim mirrors, and blind spot/cross path detection for $38k out the door. MSRP was $45k. Could be due to buying in December though. I'd keep trying!

I got a Altitude 4x2 with every option but tow package and it had an MSRP of 39180 and I got it for $34,050 plus TTL. Got $25,750 for my 2014 Overland on trade in. This price includes Jeep regional incentive for $1,500 and a $500 rebate. The rest was dealer discount. Hope this helps. If May incentives are even higher then the price should be even lower.

Re: Is this a good price for a JGC Laredo Altitude?

I finally found another dealer (in GA) and locked in a better deal than the one that was jerking me around here in South Florida (imagine that. lol). White 4x2, no options, $37,490 MSRP for $31,600. We qualified for Conquest rebate, but not military.

As they say, everything happens for a reason Here, it was about 1,867 reasons.

Although now I have to fly up and drive it back, which I actually enjoy (spent $150 on a one-way ticket, picking it up Sunday).
