Re: Is your Jeep a Truck or an SUV?

As long as I'm making the payments, I can call it whatever the hell I want to. Today, I may refer to it as a truck, tomorrow an SUV, and on the following day, I may call it Lenny.

A better thread would be- "What did you buy your Jeep for?" Utility? Off-Road ability? Looks? Or just because you felt like it?

Re: Is your Jeep a Truck or an SUV?

Call mine a Jeep, but cant see how anyone can call it a truck, no bed LOL

Here is a funny story about useless trucks, think Honda Ridgeline.

They put the spare under a compartment in the bed. BIL has one, one of his friends has small farm so he goes and gets load of manure in it.

Gets on interstate, gets a flat LOL WTF, has to call my SIL to bring shovel, has to shovel half the manure out to get to spare LOL Curses the Jap designer!

I tell him that is why most truck have spare underneath and next time just yank the spare and jack from the compartment and toss on top!

My old truck was a 1992 GMC Yukon. It was badged from the factory as "GMCTruck" and it don't have a bed

Re: Is your Jeep a Truck or an SUV?

NYS dmv classifies my Jeep as a "SUBN" or suburban vehicle. Haha!

I call my GC a Jeep or truck, depending who I'm talking to.

Yup...both my JGC and our Outback are considered SW by PA...so I guess when SWMBO gets her new Outback in the spring, we'll be a "three station wagon" family. LOL (her current one becomes the vehicle for our daughter to use for work, etc., as she'll have her license by then)

I consider my JGC a Luxury-Sport-Utlity-Truck-Thingie ... so the answer to the original question in the OP from me would merely be "yes".

Re: Is your Jeep a Truck or an SUV?

In PA it costs more to register a truck so mine is a Jeep (or station wagon).
