4. Trim pieces aren't symmetrical
5. Random rough idle
6. DEF... the system is shit as a whole (compared to other trucks with it)

Same, every car I've ever owned up until now had zero issues. Honda, Toyota, Accura, Honda. ZERO over two decades.

The Jeep: 3 recalls. Multiple software updates (this doesn't generally bother me actually but the updates felt needed). Dead oil pressure sensor resulting in a 2 week wait for a redesigned one (Chrysler provided a free rental during the wait). All in the first year.

Now that said, the Jeep overall experience is better than anything I've owned and I'm still very happy with it and probably wouldn't choose differently if given the chance given that everything has been taken care of. I might feel differently if this continues, but I really love this Jeep. :-) That says something great about what they've built, but they do need to really focus on this issue going forward.

I personally feel they are sprinting forward just a bit faster than they can cleanly handle, but the result is nonetheless awesome overall, with huge resulting sales by producing something a big step ahead of much of the competition in many aspects.

Being an early adopter doesn't help either I purchased in Aug of 2013 which explains quite a bit. My other cars were all near end of model purchases. Food for thought.

Technically speaking, not knowing what is ignorance ... is ignorance.

Lacking the knowledge of what he is referring to as ignorance
makes you ignorant of that fact.

Ignorance, by definition, is nothing more than lack of knowledge.

Btw, I've had no issues at all.....1 year 3 months and 9000 smiles.
Well, if only zero issues folks replied, the thread would die.
Which it probably should, but no need to intentionally Kevorkian it.

When the Op ask to post if you have had no issues and and you post with issues.

Thats thread derailing.

Reading comprehension isn't very high among Jeep owners I guess. I asked who has had no problems. Even saying you have had problems answers the thread.

It is called reductio ad absurdum. Your reaction illustrates my point that "issues" is a subjective term that is defined by the individual. Semantics have to be established or the question is ambiguous

What I considered to be "issues" perhaps someone else would not. The "hot cabin" debacle was something that did not bother many owners (the behavior was apparently by design) even when they confirmed their vehicles demonstrated the behavior. Other owners tried to lemon their vehicles over it.

So, what's an issue? Since the OP didn't stipulate a definition for his ambiguous terminology, others are left to post their experiences and let others judge for themselves. I imagine that if we took a consensus viewpoint, the OP's Jeep has "issues".

My Jeep? Maybe the consensus viewpoint would be it has had issues, but maybe not.

As you correctly perceived, everyone blithely accepts less than perfection in many aspects of a vehicle (e.g. tires holding pressure).

Re: Issue free

2014 GC, July 2013 build, bought in November 2013, 9000 miles and zero problems other than the brake booster recall.

Sorry to disappoint the original poster.
