Jacking

Been trying to figure out where to jack my '12 with a full chassis scissors lift. Use pads somewhere or just lift with the mounts for the "oval side rails" that stuck down further than anything else - three on each side with two plates on each ?

Has anyone ever lifted a GC off the gound this way ? All four tires off the gound makes it easy to rotate tires.

Call the dealer and ask the service dept? I would assume you would go for the same jacking points they use in the service bays.

The issue is the Mopar Oval Side Rails. The rear pad (see page 557-560 in the '12 OM 5th rev 1.) is no problem but the front pad (pg 558 4.) is somewhat obscured. The installation manual for the oval side rails says nothing about jacking.

Could someone who has the factory oval side rails (included with some option packages) comment on how to jack please ?

If you watch the DVD that came with the Jeep it has a full section dedicated to jack points on the vehicle.
