Re: Jeep attraction

Since I don't park far away from everyone else, I have on many occasions (whether in the TJ or the GC) actually interacted and talked to the other Jeep owners that parked next to me or I parked next to them and it hasn't been random it is intentional I guess it's just one of the jeep things that you don't understand.

Strongjeff & BigCat:

We just got our first Jeep: a GC Overland EcoDiesel

We lived in both CoSpring and Hopkinsville while assigned to both Ft Carson and Ft Campbell. My last seven years before retirement were with the 101st.

The choice of parking spots was dictated by their respective arrival times.

A lot of you are thinking too much with this Jeep seeks Jeep mentality. SRT or lifted JK owners ? Yeah...I can see that because it takes an enthusiast to buy an SRT or modding the rig. Two Liberty, a Grand Cherokee and a Wrangler ...is mere coincidence, just like in the DMV parking lot of any mountainous state of our Union. The choice of cars was dictated by the climate in which people drive and the choice of parking space was dictated by the common work place, NOT by the conscious decision of creating photo ops of Jeeps lined up.

We are a few hundred or thousand users on this site and others like this. We probably do not even represent a dismal one percent (or even less) of what Jeep sells every year. We, here, are bound by some common mentality or interest. But the retirement age lady office assistant with the RWD Liberty, the college co-ed with the even older Liberty don't give two cents about your Grand Cherokee and parking next to it. Maybe the hippie with the Wrangler might tell you in a deep voice "Nice rice....duuuude".
That photo I took was on post at the barracks. I'm not gonna go out and take pictures of the whole parking lot cuz there is no point. The parking lot is huge with maybe 45 cars tops parked there every day. When I parked there there was no one around me. We don't have assigned spaces eighter. I came out the next morning when I took that picture and there was two jeeps by mine and another just out of shot. That's not a coincidence bro, especially when there is a large lot to park in.

Btw this is an Army post so no grannies or colledge kids here. All soldiers. My jeep is the talk of the barracks. Everyday someone wants a ride or to hear it run or just asks about it.

You may wanna look up how many users are on here in total. We are close to 70k strong. Quiet a bit more then a few hundred or thousand
