Was driving between two Jeep wranglers.

Both pulled ahead of me and waved at each other.

I pulled between them and gave them both friendly nod and they just looked at me then looked straight ahead without acknowledging.

I was hurt

Nope not really, try waving at every Grand Cherokee or new KL Cherokee you meet and count how many oblivious none wavers you get. In fact getting to be a lot of new JK and JKU owners that don't even understand the jeep thing.

I own a WK2 and a JKU and never wave when in the Grand. Not being snobby it's just a waste of time.

Re: Jeep attraction

I have an Overland Diesel, a Wrangler Rubicon and a Mazda Miata. Would never park next to anyone for anything other than a good parking spot. Lots of people have waved to me in the Wrangler and the Miata - I'm not a waver.

Also, probably 20% of the people in the town where I live in northern NM drive some kind of Jeep. Waving just seems kinda silly. I wave to neighbors or pretty much anyone on back roads.

Besides a lot of buyers not understanding that it is part of the heritage I think many are just suspicious and struck down by a more cynical society. We generally teach our kids to not pay attention to other cars because of the fear of who is in it. Might be hoodlum or some bitter old driver who might have road rage.

Re: Jeep attraction

Sometimes I look at other jeep drivers and think, I wonder if they know what they're driving or some of the younger drivers with nicer jeeps I think, I wonder if they're into the forums.
