I thought these were supposed to have a heated steering wheel?

Probably the dealers adding to their stock.
I know my dealer ordered a few the first day they were accepted.
My order was placed about a week later.

It's part of the Security and Convenience Group, but not listed separately for some reason.

Sirius sat radio is also part of the Altitude package but is not listed anywhere on the sticker, nor is the garage door opener.

Re: Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee & Wrangler Altitude editions revealed

Sometimes you feel like jeep is listening to the buyers and other times it is just BS.

Last go 'round the Altitude was clearly based on the 26X package, and lots of people hoped that it would have at least been on the limited level.

This go 'round now that the 26X has been discountinued or renamed as a limited trim you would have thought that they would have at least started with a limited. I think clearly chrysler must have seen domestic sales of the JGC stabilize and is trying to find a way to get some new buyers to come in the show room and either lease or buyer a lower cost jGC then later they either lease another or buy another JGC with the feature they would have liked on the altitude.

I have a strong suspicion that MOPAR parts division must have been tracking the numbers to see how many Altitude specific replacement parts were sold. They must have realized that they made it too easy to add the altitude appearance parts to a 26X laredo and get the same results since they did nothing to the interiors of the Grand cherokee altitudes. and made a killing on selling grille and rear brows. ( lets face it if you go to your body shop and they guys quote you a high price or say painting chrome will peel, you will end up getting the OEM parts becaue the price is comparable or you want instant gratification)

Instead of giving the '14 altitude its own signature wheel design or using a gloss black version of the Durango R/T 10 spoke wheel they just used the same overland wheel and coated it in gloss black. Which to me will make it easy again to make an altitude out of a laredo or any other model.

I understand that keeping the options simple will keep the cost down but this is unforgiveble if they really don't offer the back up camera and the parking sensors.

I think this is a good move. It was proven that those things save lives. If you run into a mailbox or a shopping cart that's your problem. If you run over a kid than it is a tragedy. With back windows getting smaller and cars sitting higher I think it makes sense. Those cameras are cheap. If they prevent just one or two tragedies they are worth it.

I just looked at jeep.com and it looks like they dropped the Alpine System and Hard Drive as well...
