Re: Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee & Wrangler Altitude editions revealed

I noticed that it says Brilliant Black Metallic instead of Brilliant black Crystal pearlcoat. Are they making a metallic just for the Altitude? We know it's an appearance package, but it has less features than the 2012 did. Isn't that a step backwards rather than forward? Just sayin'

Granite Crystal Metallic. May not have the Jeep, but I'll still drop in and keep up with the news.

You have to understand that shiny things like metallic paint are good at distracting you from goodness or reality. It's kinda like how Raccoons are drawn to shiny objects and can't resist even though deep down they know they shouldn't.

The Altitude II shall now be known as the Tin Foil or Raccoon Edition.

The ordering system won't show the Altitude for another week when February order banks open, I can verify at that time.

Altitude Update - Sunroof is a $995 option.

4X2: $34,295 ($32,828) plus $995 Destination
4X4: $36,295 ($34,756) plus $995 Destination

Re: Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee & Wrangler Altitude editions revealed

For another two grand they could add the option of the cool ass LED headlamps.

People would pay it. Well, I know I would... lol Milous... can't you wave your Grand Cherokee shaped wand and have them add these to a one option, option list? LOL

Pearl = mica, so yes the Crystal Pearl is Mica, not Metallic. I think Milous is saying they're equal in the press release refers to the exact same color, although technically it's wrong calling the black metallic.

Thanks Milous -- this is good to know.

To summarize:
---------------
1. The MSRP has been reduced by $995 and does not include the Sunroof.

2. The previously advertised MSRPs of $35,290 and $37,290 include the optional Sunroof.

3. MSRP does not include $995 destination

So... no new surprises

We should start to see the Altitude on dealer lots in 6-8 weeks ?
