Re: Jeep driver nearly gets washed away

And that's why you don't do stupid shit lol. I guess I just don't understand the whole driving through rivers and over rocks kinda thing. Just take the bridge, it's a little easier and you don't have to ruin your vehicle and almost lose your life.

Re: Jeep driver nearly gets washed away

That stunt was a total "wash out" if he did get it out of there eventually. But one word describes it better--"STUPID"

Re: Jeep driver nearly gets washed away

That video was amazing on a few different levels... Darwin awards, the Jeep flipping but then somehow getting righted again, and that winch saving the day. I didn't think they had a chance of moving that Jeep vs the current. Would have liked to see what happened to make the Jeep move around the 8min mark and then the final conclusion but didn't imagine I'd get sucked in for the full 13min like I did.

Not as bad as the idiot that drove his Wrangler into the ocean.

Re: Jeep driver nearly gets washed away

Yeah, just what my nightmares are made of!!I get the having off road fun,God knows I enjoy it with old faithful(my Wrangler) but would never attempt a river crossing in a non modified JGC,and certainly not without having a winch anchored on the other side of the river, just in case, and this was a "just in case" situation.I would be ultra pissed at myself if this happened to any of my pride and joys, and be Demon like if anyone tried this without me knowing.Guess Forest Gump was right,"stupid is as stupid does!",and I believe the British term is "wanker".
