Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee Moose Test -- Full Story

Sounds like the original 2012 Test wasn't fake then.

Was there a recall for it?

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee Moose Test -- Full Story

It passed the US testing.
I can make any vehicle or almost any vehicle flip by modulating the momentum you get walking the wheel left then right and repeat until it rolls.

This test is similar to what happens in the real world very often when you have over correction of driving inputs. Doing just what this driver did would roll many vehicles.
I would like to know exactly which JGC this was.
Many SUVs and vans will do just what the JGC did in this test because they also carry a high center of gravity as well.
I am curious if air suspension models made any difference.
What model was tested?

There are limits to what any manufacturer can do to protect drivers. I am waiting to hear more about this before I choose to blame the manufacturer. Waiting for more information for all sides...

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee Moose Test -- Full Story

Video proof the Moose test is no longer an issue. They redid the Moose test since the 2012 failure video that's been freaking everyone out.

Check this out... the 2014 passed with flying colors. That should help put to ease alot of the discussion on this thread about it's ability to manuever in that situation. Enjoy!

That is like so last week dude.

Go here - Jeep Garage - Jeep Forum
and change "Number of Posts to Show Per Page" to 50, you will then see far more, and the earlier post of this would stick out.

Thanks. I wasn't even going to click on the thread because I figured we already beat this horse to death.

Maybe this deserves a new thread ... not sure.
