Q1. How to disable Daytime Running Lights (DRL)?
- Sidecutters.

Q2. Does opening & moving the rear door manually harm anything? (e.g damaging the electronic opening door)
- Actuators work best when under power. Whether you want to push them around manually is a personal choice.

Q3. What is the recommended alternative battery for Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 series other than Mopar?
- Quality AGM... Odyssey, Full River, Ritar, etc... others will have their own preferences.

Q4. In case of the battery is empty, how can be replaced & move the right-side seats?
- Donor car, battery, jump pack or decent charger on jump terminals under bonnet.

Q5. What are the normal min/max range values for oil temp (in Celsius), oil pressure (KPA), & transmission temp (Celsius)?
- Dunno for V8

Q6: Economic (Eco) logo, disappear from dashboard as soon as you hit the accelerator. Does it truly support economic fuel?
- Doesn't it come back on when load is minimal?

Q7: What’s the available distance can be taken as soon as fuel logo is on?
- How fast are you travelling? Seriously, the EVIC will give you an approximate figure at the time the fuel light comes on. You need to look straight away as it disappears not long afterwards.

Q8. How to decrease the volume of the Parking assistance alert other than switch it off?

Q9: How to change the A/C default mode from window to frontal?
- My A/C defaults mostly to the face level vents once the hot air is blown out of the system.

Q10: How to disable both seat belts alarm?
- Search this out as it's a recent thread

Cheers,
Steve

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 2013 Limited V8

Q1. How to disable Daytime Running Lights (DRL)?
A1. Pull the relays from on under the hood in fuse box.

Q2. Does opening & moving the hatchback / rear door manually will harm anything? (e.g damaging the electronic opening door)
A2. Pull the handle twice and it stops the motor allowing you to open/close without the motor attempting as well.

Q3. What is the recommended alternative battery for Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 series other than Mopar?
A3. Haven't looked into this yet.

Q4. In case of the battery is empty, how can be replaced & move the right-side seats?
A4. Full replacement requires the removal of the seat I believe. Otherwise jump start from the posts in engine bay.

Q5. What are the normal min/max range values for oil temp (in Celsius), oil pressure (KPA), & transmission temp (Celsius)?
A5. Not sure.

Q6: Economic (Eco) logo, disappear from dashboard as soon as you hit the accelerator. Does it truly support economic fuel?
A6. I don't know what economic fuel is...as for the Eco symbol, that is displayed when the RPMs are in the lower green section of the Tach and the engine is not under load. Accelerate and it goes away...take your foot off the gas and it comes back.

Q7: What’s the available distance can be taken as soon as fuel logo is on?
A7. Too many variables to determine. Fill it up!

Q8. How to decrease the volume of the Parking assistance alert other than switch it off?
A8. Can't.

Q9: How to change the A/C default mode from window to frontal?
A9. Can't

Q10: How to disable both seat belts alarm?
A10. As stated above, search for the procedure.

Enjoy your Jeep!

There is a fuse box under the hood on the passenger side, it's the small one with a small square black plastic cover. There are 2 relays labeled OMRON that can be pulled to disable the DRLs. There's a thread on it with a picture of which 2 to pull. Try searching this forum for it.

If you pull on the back latch handle 2 times in succession, it will disable the power liftgate.

You have a MY14. The OP is asking about a MY13 which is a completely different electrical system.
