Yes I was probly over exaggerating things a bit lol but hey it's my baby! And yes the update is right above you!!!

And yes ins will only cover oem stuff but the guy that runs the body shop is friend and snowmobiling buddy and can do whatever I ask him too, typically you just have to pay the difference in part cost!

Re: Jeep is almost totaled after deer :(

The ins company will fix it. My mustang after crashing into the divider and sliding along it for 100 ft:
It cost 14500.00 to fix ona car valued at about 30000.00

Make sure it gets done right..

Don't forget if you do the front SRT bumper you pretty much have to go it all since the parts are different all the way back. You will have to do the fender glares for all four fenders, lower SRT painted side skirt, the the rear bumper. Unfortunately one part won't match up with the other. Won't be cheap.

yes i realize that, might be going with the black ops front as it requires none of the other mess! But worst case i will be getting the grille and CF SRT hood, at least its a start lol

Re: Jeep is almost totaled after deer :(

Ouch thats a gooder. As far as totaling you never know. Depends on state, ins company, ins policy, how much you push to total, etc, etc. I deal with wrecks/wrecked cars a lot and it never ceases to amaze me what they total stuff for especially really new stuff. Airbags are rediculously expensive and you don't just put in new ones and go they require new control modules, plastic coverings or seat covers depending on the type and sometimes a whole new seat among other parts. It is really hard to predict there are so many variables but hopefully your ins company will take care of you either way.

Glad you are alright, I have hit a 7 ft kangaroo at 45 mph and the car looked like I put it into a wall it actually felt like I hit a brick wall, would have loved to have only come out with your minor damage a great testament to the Jeeps strength. The insurance company fixed it but it was never really straight and ended up selling it.

Well I just got the jeep back 3 months later FML, body shop and dealership just kept giving me the run around. But anyways it's done and they did do the SRT grille and fog bezels for me so that was sweet! And here is a pic of it in the snow.....
