Its a Christmas Tree ornament.

Re: Jeep Keychain

I'm trying to figure out the logic of giving you a key chain with a car with push button start? A bit like the ASPCA sending a complimentary leash to a cat owner.

Companies give out a lot of trinkets that don't always make sense...

Be nice if they took that money they spend on buying and mailing bits of junk like that which winde up in the trash and just gave us an owners manual from the start instead of a DVD wouldn't it Bill.

You would be lucky if they did that. most people get the USERS GUIDE as hard copy which is 264 pages long and a DVD of the OWNERS MANUAL which is 693 pages long. If you want a hard copy of the OWNERS MANUAL you call jeep and ask for it and it is mailed. Not to be confused with the SERVICE MANUAL which must be purchased for around $130 if that is something people would want.

Check what you have and if they actually gave you a hard copy of the 693 page owners manual without calling jeep. if so then you have a pretty nice dealer give them kudos.

Re: Jeep Keychain

My vote would be that they just stop printing bulk publications that 90% of owners never touch read. Put all of the information online including shop manuals for free. The amount of money they save him not printing the owners manual would easily balance the loss of giving away the shop manuals.

Then if somebody wants a hardcopy, you can either go to Kinko's, or they can order a hardcopy from Mopar and get it at a rational price.

But in short stop printing stuff but is outdated before it leaves the press, stop mailing stuff that is never used, and in short stop doing stuff just to be able to say they did something.

Just my opinion.

If my Jeep hasn't been touched since it left the dealer, how is my Owners Manual for it "outdated"?
