My point is I paid $305 for something that was suppose to be std. My point is the 430N has newer functions that the 730N does not. You can get all devensive about these two items, I am trying to point out it is not right to list full spare tire if not the same as what you are driving on, and upcharge for a listed std item. I luv my Jeep as much as the next guy. Be honest with your self this radio thing is a bad deal for such a nice ride.
They changed things. Try and show your dealer that the 730N is standard. The price was $305 higher when it was. Good luck.

Ive had 12 new cars from 2008 to real time with RER old school radio period. Lot better on the market, get real there is. Some viewers seeing what I was trying to point out, not being a negative on forum but presenting facts. Again I did not order my Overland but had a dealer locate it. Ive added all skid plates frt tow hooks and a lot of other accs because I did my research and wanted the 20" with full spare tire. No a gun was not put to my head, but I think Jeep Co could do a better job @ informing what is really on your Jeep.

Assume too much you do.

Re: Jeep Lets Get It Right

Interesting, all the discussion about the spare... how about the other four tires??? With off-road package vehicles they are shipping all-season tires, despite the window sticker clearly saying "On/off-road tires"

See this thread: Off-Road Adventure II Package Tires

Stopped by the dealer today to talk to one of the managers... they are going to follow up with Chrysler on Monday. I'll post what I hear back.

Hmm, my Dads old Navigator had a smaller "rim" steel wheel as a spare. Doesn't mean anything. A spare is just to get you from the break down point to the repair point. Nothing more nothing less.

No issue here with the radio, just bummed I paid extra for the 730N RER when, in the same model year, the 730N RHR came out. But I needed the car in November and the RHR wasn't available then. So, that's that.
And in December, the sticker on my vehicle didn't charge any extra for the 730N RER. (no $305 charge or credit) Believe it or not, the sticker on my vehicle didn't list what radio I had installed in the system! (just checked again, I still have the original sticker)

I think we can all agree that the radio issue has been confusing, to say the least. At least now, we know that the 730N rhr is finally available. Honestly, I wasn't going to wait several more months for a few extra features. (although the travel link, streaming bluetooth audio would have been nice)

You've got "skid plates, tow hook and a lot of other accs..."?
