It has been said that it would look like the old Wagoneer and would be priced the highest of the Jeep models.

Just remember, the WK2 starts off at 30K and end at 65K.

Re: Jeep to revive Grand Wagoneer

I would hate to have 7 seats in the current GC as it would be very tight. I can only imagine that it will be the Dodge floorpan with GC fitout. I wonder how much more opulent features you can shove into a "Wagoneer" that is not already in a Summit.
Personally I would jump at a 7 seater as we have 3 kids and only having 5 seats limits us to not having any extra passengers. Thank being said our current ride is a 7 seater and we have only used the extra seats twice, but the kids are all under 5 ATM.

Re: Jeep to revive Grand Wagoneer

I just think that it will be a flop when it comes out.

I totally disagree, as the only thing Jeep lacks is a 7 seater.

I am going to be buying a 6+ passenger vehicle at some point in 2013, and I am currently doing some preliminary research (i.e. finding out what's coming out, and what will be refreshed).

Obviously I had nothing to consider when it came to Jeep, and if they do the GW right, then it will be fine. Fact is that I didn't even know anything about it until about 10 minutes ago.

There is going to be a heck of a lot of competition in the 2013-14 7-passenger "midsize" segment. My current problem is that when I buy a vehicle in 2013, I'm going to be buying a travel trailer in 2014. Even with all that competition, very few of these vehicles will tow 6,000+ pounds.

Re: Jeep to revive Grand Wagoneer

While I could live without a third row, the other thing the GC lacks is cargo space. In the GW, the third row would be an added bonus.
That rendering looks exactly like a cross between the GC and the Mercedes GL. In fact the foglights are straight from the GL. If it looked like that, I would buy one.

I hope it looks like the old GW but with more curves, just round it off with some good solid lines and I'll be trading in ASAP.
