Granite Crystal Metallic. May not have the Jeep, but I'll still drop in and keep up with the news.

Re: Jeep vs Honda :)

I think that on any given day Toyota could show Jeep a few tricks. And I am not even saying FJ Cruiser vs. JK or forerunner or Land Cruiser vs. Grand Cherokee. All you have to do is look in the Performance forum and read how the mighty American HEMI was defeated by a RAV4 rice burner.

I completely disagree with the picture, no matter how humorous may be. It is not factually true.

Thread title is Honda vs. Jeep. Why did you bring Toyota into it?

Re: Jeep vs Honda :)

I love my Honda (2007 Acura TL Type S 6spd manual). I actually got rid of my 2012 Overland V6 because I just couldnt let my TL go. Now that the revised 2014's are out I may get another but would definately go with the Hemi or maybe Diesel for the fun factor that I just didnt have with the V6....even though it did the job just fine, just wasnt necessarily fun :-)

Traded in a '09 Pilot EXL RES for 2012 Limited V6. Our first Chrysler product. My wife said Honda has catching up to do. While the Jeep was nicer ride and features, it is no Honda for Quality. We have replaced our 730N, had the cylinder head replaced, and a catastrophic transmission failure that left us stranded. Now my wife says it is the last American car she will own.

I love my '08 TL, MDX is a safer choice/buy than an Overland based on my experience.

Mitsubishi Zeroes bombed Pearl Harbor. Does that mean American's shouldn't buy Mitsubishis so they can go zoom zoom?

Yes it does. That's exactly what it means.

I was going to say eye candy, jeep over Honda, but seems like reliability Honda has it in the bag.

Though you should probably note that this is more because the cars aren't very appealing than anything else.

Now, if you want to really hold grudges then I guess German cars are out. Porsche helped build Tiger tanks, and indeed all of the major companies contributed to the war effort. Which, you kind of have to expect in a world war. Speaking of which, one of them owned Jeep for a while and many components are still shared. Now it is owned by another company that helped the Axis powers during WW2.

tl;dr - this is a crappy game to play and pretty soon you won't be buying any cars.

Thought it was Mazdas from Hiroshima [remember that place?] that go zoom zoom.
Or is it zoom zoom zoom.
Dadburned little furrin cars, can't keep them straight any more, and can't even say which are furrin and which are not these days.
